Treffen Unser Küchenchef
Meet Our Chef
Before coming to Florida, Andre began his career as a Chef leading a busy bakery in Brazil, where he stayed for 10 years. A passion for cooking make him drop out of college and invest his time in gastronomy. Always enjoyed cooking for friends when received at home in his homeland. Barbecue, rice and beans, farofa(a toasted manioc flour mixture, though variants are made with maize flour (farinha de milho), and flavors can vary) with eggs as a main dish. Pudding and chocolate cake for dessert.
“It was always my dream to know America and its culture. When I got here I started at a large chain of fast food, where I was working for 4 months. Shortly, thereafter, I went to Checkers and so was quite pleased to be in the place where I always dreamed and doing what i always wanted, preparing German food.” Andre started as a kitchen assistant and in less than a year was commanding and being challenged every day on busy nights at the Checkers.” The most requested of the restaurant, Veal Wienerschnitzel, is what I do best.”Customers arriving at the restaurant always ask if Andrew is German, and the answer is always the same: “I’m not German, but I’m in love with German food!”
